A storyteller, songwriter, vocalist and creative mentor.

I have spent 25 years mastering the art of songwriting — not in the spotlight, but in the studio, where true craft is forged. And today, like every day, I am writing. In the studio. For artists. For film. For television. For grammy award winning producers. And most importantly for the absolute love of it — because nothing makes me feel more alive.

​

I never went to music school. I never learned to read music. I didn't follow a formula or take the conventional path. Everything I know came from deep within — from trusting my instincts completely, from the very beginning.

 ​

And yet you have probably already heard my songs. On Netflix, BBC, Foxtel and Apple TV. On Love Island, The Voice, Poldark, Masterchef and more. The songs you didn't know had my name on them have accumulated way over 100 million streams worldwide.

​

I have signed major label deals with Sony and BMG. Written endless songs for EMI & Universal Music. Omega flew me to Vienna to sing my song In The Dark in a palace for Nicole Kidman.

Elvis Costello personally reached out and invited me to open his tour. Rolling Stone called my album "one to watch." This album was mastered at the legendary Abbey Road Studios.

 

My music has been licensed by DKNY x Hailey Bieber, Rockefeller Centre, Omega, Huawei and more. I have performed on legendary stages around the world — from the Sydney Opera House to Irving Plaza New York and the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles.

I could never have imagined the adventures I would go on through living my life as a songwriter.

​

And... after 25 years of devoted songwriting I know one thing above everything else — the songs that move people are rarely the most polished ones. They are without doubt the most honest. The most vulnerable. The most real.

 

Technical ability is interesting in songwriting but it never beats raw and real. That is the ingredient you need to tap into to give someone goosebumps. And those are the songs you want to write.

The path to your truest creative work runs directly through yourself. The deeper you go within, the further your music travels into the world.

​

This is something that I have lived. And it is everything The Songwriters Path is built on.
